The Honduran Tourism Institute (IHT) officially presented the tourism brand “Honduras, naturally yours”, the organization reported.
It is an emblem that reinforces its position as one of the most prominent destinations in Central America.
At the launch, the Minister of Tourism of Honduras, Yadira Gómez, stated that the new brand represents a new chapter in the country’s tourism promotion.
The presentation of the country brand was led by the Vice Minister of Tourism, Reizel Vilorio, who stated: “Honduras, naturally yours is more than a slogan; it is an invitation to discover a country rich in culture, history and nature.”
The objective is to show internationally the diversity and cultural wealth that this country offers and invite tourists and investors to discover its unique treasures.
The brand’s design is characterized by its bright colors. Blue represents marine fauna, orange is related to Mayan heritage, red symbolizes the vibrant plumage of the scarlet macaw, green refers to coral reefs and yellow celebrates the cultural richness of Honduran ethnic groups.
The launch event, held at the Manuel Bonilla Theater at the end of August, was a great display of art, music, gastronomy and local culture.
In this last week, various activities have been organized in relation to the new emblem that transcends Central American borders.
