Mayra has extensive experience managing trademark portfolios, regulatory affairs, consumer protection, and data privacy. Before joining Eproint, she served as Director of the Intellectual Property practice in Nicaragua and Costa Rica for a globally recognized law firm.

She has taught at two universities in Nicaragua and has been a speaker and presenter at various forums. She has authored articles on diverse legal topics, including signage regulation and the control and use of tobacco accessories, among others. In recent years, her practice has focused on regulatory affairs, overseeing national and international registrations. She has supported compliance efforts for leading pharmaceutical companies and has handled complex and emerging issues related to plant varieties.
She is an active member of INTA and currently serves on its Law and Regulation Committee. She is also the National Delegate for ASIPI and a member of its Anti-Piracy Committee.
