- MARIA DEL PILAR LOPEZ is a renowned intellectual property expert dedicated to protecting and maximizing her clients’ IP assets. She offers invaluable guidance with a deep understanding of administrative and judicial processes. She has crafted enforcement strategies for Fortune 500 companies, addressed social media IP violations, and enhanced trademark portfolios. Additionally, she advises on patent law, regulatory compliance, and ensures AI services meet Costa Rican regulations.
- LUIS DIEGO CASTRO is a well known name among patent practitioners in the region. A pioneer in the field with more than thirty years of experience. Luis Diego has developed a strong life sciences and technology law practice. He is currently serving as board member of several biotech and life sciences clusters in Costa Rica.
- SIMON VALVERDE is commonly identified as one of the leading authorities in Intellectual Property in Costa Rica. Mr. Valverde has directed prosecution of a large percentage of the patent applications filed in Costa Rica within the last 15 years. He also provides advice in trademark, trade secret and copyright matters to Fortune 500 companies as well as to public institutions and individuals. He is a faculty member and technical expert in the changes to the curricula of the Intellectual Property Master Degree program at Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica (the only such program in Costa Rica).
