Throughout her distinguished career, Sylvia has served as a leading attorney in bank foreclosure proceedings and IP infringement litigation, demonstrating her command of complex legal matters. She has represented Guatemala before WIPO’s Assembly of States in Geneva, underscoring her standing in the international intellectual property community.
Sylvia is the founding partner at Ruiz Skinner-Klee & Ruiz, and her career in public service includes serving as Registrar of Intellectual Property at the Guatemala Ministry of Economy, where she gained invaluable insight into the administrative and regulatory dimensions of IP protection in Guatemala.
